AFCAT (02/2020) Exam Notification : 256 AFCAT 02-2020 Entry, NCC Special Entry & Other Posts
Indian Air Force has issued AFCAT 02/2020 notification for flying branch and ground duty (technical and non-technical) branches / NCC Special Entry / Metrology Entry for courses commencing in July 2021. The online application for IAF AFCAT 02/2020 will begin on June 15, 2020. Interested candidates can submit online application for AFCAT through the official website by July 14, 2020. The AFCAT online examination will be held on September 19 and 20.

Required Qualification :
AFCAT Entry :
- Flying : Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level / B.E / B.Tech Course 20 to 24 years
- Ground Duty (Technical): 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 60% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology 20 to 26 years
Ground Duty (Non- Technical)
- Admin: Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with at Least Minimum 60% Marks 20 to 26 years
- Accounts: Bachelor Degree in Commerce B.Com with at Least Minimum 60% Marks
NCC Special Entry :
- Flying: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and Other Details as per Flying Branch Eligibility 20 to 24 years

Eligibility : Candidates applying for the AFCAT exam must ensure that they meet all the qualifications. Their admission to all the stages of the exam like written exam and SSB exam will be purely temporary. That will depend on whether they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Their candidature will be canceled by the Indian Air Force if it is found that they do not meet the eligibility criteria before or after the written examination or during verification before or after the AFSB examination. Note that just the issuance of the admit card will not decide that his candidature has been finally accepted by the Indian Air Force.
Age limit- Admission in Udaan branch through AFCAT and NCC special entry
Candidates should be between 20 and 24 years of age on 01 July 2021, ie born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001 (both dates included). Candidates who have valid commercial pilot licenses issued by DGCA (India) will be exempted up to the age of 26 years. That is, such candidates should have been born between July 02, 1995 to July 01, 2001 (both dates included).

Applicant’s age should be between 20 and 26 years on July 01, 2020, ie, he was born between July 02, 1995 to July 01, 2001 (both dates included).
