IPS Officers Recruitment & Training

Three ways to get recruited IPS officers, that are:

  • Civil service examination conducting by UPSC
  • If state police promotes his existing policemen
  • Limited competitive examination conducted by UPSC

After recruitment, Probationary training are given to them in police academy at Hyderabad and Mussorie. Thereafter, completed academic training, they become eligible for joining IPS.
