NDA exam is a national level examination. With this, one gets admission as an officer in Indian Air Force, Indian Army and Indian Navy.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will issue notification of NDA and NA Exam (II) 2020 on June 16, 2020 on June 16, 2020. In this regard, a message has been issued on UPSC’s official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates wishing to apply for UPSC NDA II exam 2020 will have to wait for the updates till 16 June. Recently Revised Calendar has been released by UPSC. According to this, UPSC NDA II exam 2020 will now be on 6 September 2020.

Eligibility Conditions:

* Be a citizen of India or a citizen of Nepal or a citizen of Bhutan

* Be a Tibetan refugee permanently arriving in India before January 1, 1962
* Natives of India have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma or Kenya of East Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently residing in India.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 16 and half years to 19 and half years to take the NDA exam.

Gender and Marital Status:

* Unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA.
* Candidates must pledge not to marry until they complete their training.

Educational Qualification:

For Army: Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme in Air Force and Navy and Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have completed 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics. Candidates appearing for the 12th or equivalent class examination can also apply.

NDA Exam Pattern

The final interview takes place after a written examination. The written paper of NDA consists of two sections. 300 marks Mathematics and 600 marks questions are from General Ability. In both, objective questions are asked. The total marks of the written examination is 900. The interview also carries a total of 900 marks.

Union Public Service Commission

The formation of the Union Public Service Commission was in the year 1926 on 1st October. The headquarter of the Commission is located at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. To conduct the civil service examination the union public service commission has been established. It is seen that initially the civil service examination were conducted in London. The maximum age of applying for the exam were 23 age and 18 years is the minimum age. But from the year 1922, the Civil Service Examination was started in India and first one was held at Allahabad and the next in Delhi.
